56 pieces of ancient carved stones of Tubo Kingdom are found in Mangkam County, Chamdo Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region.
12 of them are appraised as national cultural relic at 1st level, 11 as national cultural relic at 2nd level and 33 at 3rd level.
Experts said that, these round carved stones are rare to see both home and abroad.
In addition, among those stones, Buddhist carved stones including Vairocana, Wisdom Buddha, Goddess of Avalokiteshvara and other 6 stones of Bodhisattva take great value on the research of Tibetan history and art.
