Pha Spang Kha means huge stone palace in Tibetan language and it locates in a lap, 10 km west from the capital city of Tibet. According to the legend that 700 AD, the Tibetan king, Songtsan Gambo built the nine-floor palace on this huge stone and then, the founder of Tibetan language, Thon mi Sam bo Ta set up the Tibetan language system by combining the rhyme and sound here. |
