Tsahilhungpo Monastery Hospital is the biggest lama hospital in Xigaze, Tibet. It was built before Tibet peaceful liberation with two bungalows at the beginning. Most of their service targets were high-level monks, aristocratic and officials at that time. Now it has expanded into a multi-function hospital after a long history. Every day, there are more than 200 person-time coming here for medical treatment. At present, 14 lama doctors serve here. This hospital can produce 60 kinds of medicines by its staffs and it receives farmer and herders patients with a pretty low charge.
