There are a group of students who come from the snowy mountain areas of Tibet studying in Wuhan city, Hubei province now. Most of the students are out of poor families. They come here to study with their parents' hopes and expectations.

It is said that from 2002, Hongshan High School and Wuhan 49th High Shool have received 21 excellent Tibetan students. Most of them come from Lhokha and Nyingchi prefectures.

One girl named Tashi Yangzom, 16 years old, is studying in 49th High School in grade two. She went home once in 4 years. She sang the song Himalayas in Chinese and in Tibetan for the reporters, and used the song to express her thoughts as well as others' that they are bound to go back to build Tibet.
