Sonam Wangmo, a girl comes from northern part of Tibet. She has become well-known by her beautiful voice. She has taken part in the CCTV Spring Festival Soiree for two consecutive years, in 2003 and 2004. Her famous song "Golden Country" has gained popularity, by which she became well-known. Her another song "Ode of Qiangtang" won her second prize in the folk song solo competition, which took place during the "Shoton Festival" when she was 14 years old.

Sonam Wangmo, her hometown is a remote village in Tibet. She loves singing so much. She said as long as she can speak, she can sing; as long as she can walk, she can dance.
