In the evening of February 6th, over 500 Tibetans together with the staffs of Embassy of The People's Republic of China in Nepal celebrated the coming Wood-Rooster Tibetan New Year and Spring Festival.

The ambassador, Sun Heping pointed out that Tibetan Losar and Spring Festival is a traditional festival for all the relatives and friends to gather together; it is really wonderful for all those Tibetans in Nepal to get together for celebrating this important festival.

Sun introduced the changes after the peaceful liberation of Tibet 50 years ago. Now Tibetan economy increases rapidly with a rate of 12%, higher than the average level of the nation. These years, Tibetan traditional culture has been effectively protected and Tibetan people enjoy the religion freedom. Everything in Tibet goes well with the leading of Chinese government and he believed that Tibet would have a brighter future.
