The 1st International Tsha Tsha Forum was held on October 27, 2007 at Tsha Tsha Cultural Research and Exhibition Center in Tianjin attracting famous Tsha Tsha research experts from home and abroad.
Aiming at developing traditional Tibetan culture, Tsha Tsha, the Forum tries to arrange backbone force of Tsha Tsha and to provide a platform for scientific development exchange on Tsha Tsha art.
A famous Tibetan Buddha together with some other experts have delivered speeches on the forum.
As scheduled, the Tsha Tsha Cultural Research and Exhibition Center will open to the public since October 28. The first set of Tsha Tsha postal materials will be on sale with the signature of Tianjin Tsha Tsha Cultural Research and Exhibition Center director Liu Dong and 7th Dadrak Living Buddhist on October 28 and 29. The center will also offer old Tsha Tsha as well as masterpiece of Tibetan art works.
Tsha Tsha, a Tibetan transliteration of Sanskrit word, is the clay votive tablets in Tibetan Buddhism. As a typical representative of Tibetan Buddhist arts, Tsha Tsha is the precious treasure left to us by Tibetan ancestors, as well as an important part of human civilization. There are a number of tablets distributed in Tibet Autonomous Region, Tibetan-inhabited areas in China and People's Republic of Mongolia.
